product care
Remove your tights and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

I Recommend them!

"I am going on a bike trip to Europe and, wanting to pack minimally, I bought these capris as one reviewer said they were nice enough looking to wear other than for biking. I totally agree! Double duty capris that wash and dry quickly makes them perfect for my bike trip. I totally recommend them!"

Terry Capris

"The cycling capris are not what I expected. They are low quality & very thin. I use to love Terry cycling clothes have gone the direction of other companies. I'm disappoint"

— Theresa G. (3/5)

Sizing is off

"The sizing is off. It is much too small and this is my regular size"

— Barbara D. (1/5)

Way too long and too tapered

"I have the Vista BTK knickers and love them, I wanted something a bit longer to replace a very old pair of Zoic pedal pushers I e had years Same lovely feel to fabric as Vistas andxeasy pull on design but they are much too long and too tapered. They are unflattering, it looks as though im wearing longs that are a but too short for me. Cant return as it's too pricey imI in the UK Will either sell or attempt to shorten myself. DO NOT buy unless you are at least 5'7" to 5'8" tall."

— Alison M. (3/5)

Like the feel

"they look and feel good on, but it has been to cold so I haven't worn biking or hiking yet. I think they will be great though!"

— JO F. (5/5)

Great fit, light fabric

"I am 4’10” 117 lb the medium was perfect. Loose enough to wear a liner but not baggy. Length was 2 inches above my ankle. Yes would recommend to others"

— Roberta W. (5/5)

Pedal pusher

"Taking them on a backroads trip. I think they will work out great for both cycling and walking! Went up one size to accommodate my cycling liners"

— Jennifer T. (5/5)

I want to like!

"I love this pull on line from Terry and I have the shorts as well. The shorts get a four star. But these are too long. I am average height and it's frustrating that most pants are made for tall women. Most women are not tall. The other problem for me is that the size medium is just a little too tight in the waist but the size large slips off of the padded lining because they are both slick nylon. Quality is superior as always with Terry."

— Michelle V. (3/5)

Versatile and Comfy!!

"I bought these on a whim when I really was looking for cycling shorts. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were! I love the versatility of no chamois-I have a separate liner that will work perfectly with them. They are fast drying and lightweight but provide coverage and warmth without being too hot. I plan to wear them on a long flight I have coming up."

— Sara M. (5/5)

Cute and Comfy

"I bought these for everyday wear. Truly love them. They Fit well, wear well and pack well! I bought the East rider tank in Jasmine to wear with it. They look great together for casual wear even with back bike pockets in tank. I am a road and gravel rider. I would not wear these for rides'but could see wearing them for around town type riding. Please Terry make these in more colors I would buy more! I am 5'3' 124lbs ordered size small."

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri is explicitly unpadded, with no built-in chamois. It's designed for riders who want to choose their own padded liner and wear it underneath, rather than committing to a fixed pad. This approach gives you flexibility to match the chamois grade and fit to your own ride and body. If you prefer an all-in-one bottom with the chamois already integrated, the Wayfarer Bike Tight includes a chamois and removes the need for a separate liner.

The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri is a capri-length bottom with a 24.5 inch inseam in size medium, graded across sizes. That puts it between a short and a full-length tight, giving you more coverage than a short on cooler days without going all the way to the ankle. If you're specifically after full ankle-length coverage for colder riding, a full-length option from Terry's tight range such as the Diversion Merino Trail Bike Pant or Gravel Bike Pant will serve you better than this capri.

The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri suits riders who want more coverage than a short on cooler days and for commuting, but don't want a full-length tight. Its stretch woven construction, pull-on fit, hidden zippered pockets, and cycling-specific center gusset make it practical on the bike while staying stylish enough to wear off it. Because it's unpadded, it's ideal for riders who want to pair it with a padded liner of their own choosing, or who prefer casual rides where a chamois isn't essential.

Yes. The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri is designed as a stylish, transitional capri that moves easily between riding and everyday wear. Its stretch woven fabric, clean pull-on fit, and sleek hidden zippered pockets give it an off-bike look, while the center gusset is uniquely suited to cycling. This makes it a strong choice for commuters and errand-running riders who want one bottom that works for the ride and still looks right when they arrive, without changing clothes.

The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri is positioned for cooler days and commuting rather than deep winter cold, and it makes no thermal or insulation claim. If most of your riding happens in genuinely cold, sub-freezing conditions, you'll want a thermal or winter-weight option from Terry's tight range, such as the Thermal Bike Tight or Winter Bike Tight, which have brushed or winter-weight interiors and include a chamois. The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri earns its place in the transitional shoulder-season window instead.

Choosing the Pedal Pusher Bike Capri makes sense when you want control over your own padding. Because it's unpadded, you can pair it with the padded liner that fits your body and ride best, swapping liners as needed rather than being locked into one fixed chamois. This also suits shorter commutes and casual rides where a heavy pad isn't necessary. If you'd rather not manage a separate liner at all, the Wayfarer Bike Tight includes a chamois in an all-in-one design.

The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri is built to be worn with a padded liner of your own choosing, since it has no built-in chamois. For regular or longer rides, pairing it with a quality women's-specific padded liner gives you the saddle comfort the capri itself doesn't provide. For short commutes or casual trips, you may find you don't need one at all. This flexibility lets you match chamois support to the ride, which is exactly what the capri's unpadded design is meant to enable.

The Pedal Pusher Bike Capri stops at capri length with a 24.5 inch inseam, so if you want coverage all the way to the ankle, it's not the right pick. Riders wanting full-leg coverage for colder rides, sun protection, or trail contexts should look to full-length options in Terry's tight range, such as the Soleil Bike Tight for warm-weather sun protection or the Diversion Merino Trail Bike Pant for trail and casual riding. Choose the capri when the between-length coverage is exactly what you want.
