Flex Air Tour Chamois:
Unique to Terry, the Flex Air chamois line offers the best shape and construction for women. The Flex Air Tour takes comfort up a notch with 14 percent more foam for endurance riding. Seamless chamois with 4-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology provides freedom of movement on the saddle; multi-level foam padding is perforated for increased breathability; light, channeled microfiber fabric in Terry pink is antimicrobial and enhances moisture transfer; soft wing construction reduces bulk at inner thigh to avoid chafing. Chamois is made in Italy.

product care
Remove your tights and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

Reviews

Petite with tour chamois please

"I have the petite cool weather tights and love them, but could use a more padded chamois. Please offer this model with a 26-inch inseam!"

— Deborah B. (5/5)

Winter tight

"Amazingly lightweight for being so warm. I’m a wimp and won’t ride below 50 degrees and these are perfect for low 50 temps. Love having a zippered pocket for tissues too."

— Cheryl C. (5/5)

A great pair of tights

"I bought these tights to replace an older, often-worn cool weather tight. I love the chamois in this tour tight - just the right amount of padding for me. I've used it 2 or 3 times already & it has been comfortable in low 40s with wind chills in the 30s. It's not very wind resistant but is good when the sun is shining! You'll want more wind resistance in colder weather. The pocket is useful. I ordered my usual Terry size & they fit great."

— Nadine S. (5/5)

Great feel and fit

"Great feel and fit. Good for cooler weather, 50-60's. Might need a bit more for cold weather riding. Comfy padding."

— Donna C. (5/5)

Very comfortable

"We just completed a 5 day cycling tour of the Cotswolds and I'm very happy with my new Coolweather Tour Tight. They were warm and the extra padding in the chamois helped a lot. While others complained of sore bottoms, I had no problem."

— Martha M. (5/5)

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight is rated for 40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit, which makes it a dependable choice for three-season riding through fall and spring. It's built for riders who want full-leg coverage when shorts feel too cool but conditions aren't genuinely cold. The tri-blend wicking fabric manages moisture in changeable cool-season weather. If your rides regularly dip below 40 degrees, a thermal option like the Winter Bike Tight will serve you better, since the Coolweather Tour isn't insulated for deep winter cold.

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight uses Terry's Flex Air Tour Chamois, which carries 14 percent more multi-density foam than the standard Flex Chamois found in the Coolweather Bike Tight. This densely padded, four-way stretch chamois features soft wing construction to reduce bulk at the inner thigh and avoid chafing, with perforated, multi-level foam for breathability. The extra foam is purpose-built for distance, so riders logging long hours in the saddle get sustained support. The Flex Air line is designed specifically around women's shape and construction.

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight was specifically designed for distance. Its Flex Air Tour Chamois adds 14 percent more multi-density foam than the standard Flex Chamois, which lets you ride layer-free and in total comfort on all-day rides and multi-day tours rather than stacking extra padding underneath. With minimal-bulk, quick-drying fabric and thoughtful details like gentle ankle grippers and an elastic-free front waist yoke, it's built for riders who want to go further. Terry's decades of designing for women inform this endurance-focused fit.

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight earns its place when your rides run long. Its Flex Air Tour Chamois carries 14 percent more multi-density foam than the standard Flex Chamois, which is a real benefit over distance but more density than a shorter-ride rider may need. If most of your cool-weather riding is shorter, the Coolweather Bike Tight gives you the same 40 to 60 degree three-season performance with the standard Flex Chamois. Choose the Tour version when distance comfort is the priority.

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight is rated for 40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit and isn't insulated for genuinely cold riding. Its tri-blend wicking fabric is designed for quick drying and moisture management in cool three-season conditions, not for retaining heat below 40 degrees. If you ride through sub-freezing temperatures, the Winter Bike Tight is built for that kind of cold with proper insulation. Matching the tight to your actual temperature range matters, because the Coolweather Tour's strength is cool-season versatility, not deep winter warmth.

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight was built for riders who want to go further and don't bat an eye at bad weather. Its 64 percent nylon, 21 percent polyester, 15 percent spandex blend is Terry's quickest-drying, best-wicking fabric, which helps manage moisture when cool-season conditions turn damp. This isn't a waterproof garment, so for sustained rain you'd want a dedicated rain pant like the Lupra GORE-TEX Bike Pant. For drizzle and changeable cool weather on a long ride, the Coolweather Tour's fast-drying fabric keeps you comfortable.

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight offers moderate compression from its tri-blend wicking fabric, which holds the tight close without the firm muscle support of a high-compression race fit. This moderate level suits its purpose as an endurance and touring tight, where all-day comfort and freedom of movement matter more than aggressive compression. The four-way stretch Flex Air Tour Chamois supports natural movement on the saddle.

The Coolweather Tour Bike Tight includes a secure zip pocket sized to be smartphone-friendly, which is a practical detail for the long and multi-day rides it's built for. On distance rides you want essentials close and secure, and a zip closure keeps your phone from bouncing out. The tight also features an elastic-free front waist yoke and gentle ankle grippers for comfort over many hours. These thoughtful touches reflect Terry's focus on real-world comfort for women riding further.
