product care
Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

Reviews

Ultimate comfort short

"Just bought my second pair. Ideal for women who are done with the sausage spandex bike shorts… perfect fit while being so so comfortable… I can’t recommend them enough!"

— Joyce S. (5/5)

Would not wear these off the bike.

"The material is great. I did not. plan on wearing these to cycle. I bought them to hike and was hoping for them to be alittle looser. I returned them due to being more conformed to my body better suited for cycling than hiking."

— Richelle R. (2/5)

Out of town

"I have been out of town and have not seen them"

— Lisa L. (5/5)

Shorts are great

"The short are great: breathable, light, large pockets and the one with zipper in the right place. However the liner is too light on paddling. I thought I will wear them on a short rides but for a nice look took on a longer 40 miles. It was painful on 10 mile but at 40 i was so tired i forgot of their not perfect interaction with Terry seat during the hills. Please, add another layer on lining, we need them!"

— Tatyana M. (4/5)

Great light weight shorts

"I love the fit of these. Definitely my new favorite shorts. The liner however that comes with these are quite minimal and while I like the fit of the briefs they don't have enough padding for my liking, so I wear a different liner with them. It would be great if we could choose the type of liner padding we wanted."

— Lori T. (5/5)

have three pairs and

"I love love loved these when I got them, but now 2-3 years in, depending on the pair, the top is very stretched out and the shorts don't stay put. If I were a better sewist I would stitch some cinch straps on the sides. Unfortunately it's not that I have gone down a size!"

— Sj (3/5)

Comfort

"The shorts are easy to stay in all day. Lightweight and fit well through the hips. Like the deep pockets."

— Rita P. (5/5)

Great fit

"The fit is excellent, and I like the shorter length. The fabric is light and I wore them for both gravel and Mtbing. I'd buy another pair."

— Blair B. (5/5)

Didn't fit

"Seems like a great short, just not right for me. Fit isn't as shown, it is much baggier."

— Bonnie L. (4/5)

Perfect Bike Shorts

"Excellent for comfort and function."

Questions & Answers

The Vista Bike Short w. liner comes bundled with Terry's Cyclo Brief 2.0, a minimalist liner built around a reticulated foam chamois, so it's ready to ride out of the box. This suits riders who want a single purchase that covers their whole setup rather than pairing a baggy short with a separately chosen liner. The Cyclo Brief 2.0 uses seamless, 4-way stretch Elastic Interface construction with Terry's soft wing design and an antimicrobial cover, reflecting Terry's long focus on women's-specific chamois comfort.

The Vista Bike Short w. liner uses a reticulated foam chamois that is intentionally thinner and lighter than a high-endurance pad, making it breathable and well suited to shorter and moderate rides. If most of your riding is longer endurance days where you want thicker, higher-support cushioning, you'll be better served stepping into Terry's Performance Short archetype, starting with the Bella Bike Short or Breakaway Bike Short. The Vista earns its place when you value a light, ready-to-ride pad over maximum cushioning.

The Vista Bike Short w. liner is for riders who want full cycling functionality without looking like they're in traditional fitted kit. It suits women who prefer a trail-style silhouette, want a bundled minimalist liner ready to ride, and appreciate a lighter, breathable pad over heavy cushioning. The pull-on styling with a wide stretch waistband accommodates a wide variety of body types, and the chainlink print gives it a distinct casual look. It's a strong fit for commuting, gravel, fitness, and recreational riding.

The Vista Bike Short w. liner has a 10 inch inseam with a printed fold-up hem that shortens the length by 1.25 inches when flipped up. This matters if you're between preferences on leg coverage: you get fuller coverage when you want it and a slightly shorter, cooler cut when you don't, all in one short. Riders who want noticeably more leg coverage in the same baggy aesthetic might instead look at the Vista BTK Bike Knicker.

The Vista Bike Short w. liner uses pull-on styling with a wide stretch waistband designed to accommodate a wide variety of body types, so it adapts comfortably rather than demanding one narrow fit. This reflects Terry's decades of designing specifically for women cyclists, where comfort is a starting principle rather than an afterthought. If you've found fitted waistbands uncomfortable or restrictive in the past, the Vista's accommodating pull-on construction makes it an approachable, forgiving option.

The Vista Bike Short w. liner is for riders who want cycling functionality without the look and feel of traditional fitted kit. Its wrap-around chainlink print and relaxed trail-short silhouette give it a distinct, casual appearance, while the bundled Cyclo Brief 2.0 liner keeps it fully ride-ready. It also adds two front drop-in hand pockets and a zippered right-leg pocket large enough for a smartphone. If being comfortable being seen off the bike matters as much as comfort on it, the Vista delivers both.

The Vista Bike Short w. liner comes bundled with Terry's Cyclo Brief 2.0 minimalist liner, so it's a complete ready-to-ride setup in one purchase. The Rover Bike Short is sold without any liner, which makes it the better choice if you already own a liner you like or want to select your own separately. Choose the Vista if you want a bundled, convenient option; choose the Rover if liner flexibility and control over your own pad matter more to you.

The Vista Bike Short w. liner works well across commuting, gravel, fitness, and recreational riding thanks to its casual trail-short look and practical storage. It has two front drop-in hand pockets plus a zippered pocket on the right leg large enough to hold a smartphone, so you can carry essentials without a bag. The non-kit aesthetic means you won't feel out of place off the bike, making the Vista a flexible choice for rides that blend into the rest of your day.

Consider a different option if your riding has outgrown what the Vista Bike Short w. liner is built for. Its reticulated foam chamois is thin and light by design, so riders doing long endurance rides who want thicker, higher-support padding should look at Terry's Performance Short archetype, starting with the Bella Bike Short or Breakaway Bike Short. If instead you simply want to choose your own separate liner rather than use the bundled Cyclo Brief 2.0, the unpadded Rover Bike Short is the more suitable choice.
